Soon after you submit your newborn session inquiry, I will be in touch regarding availability. If there is availability I will do a little happy dance here in my studio to celebrate and send you an email confirming availability to schedule your newborn's session. I will also send you a session pricing guide that will outline all of your options for newborn sessions. This will include in-home, in-hospital, and in-studio session types so you will be fully informed and can make the best decision for you.

Including your home in your photographs adds immense value to your newborn's photoshoot. This is your baby's first home! This home is where you will hold, nurture, and love your baby. This is where they will take their first steps. The place where they will let out those big cries that hurt your heart and those big laughs that make your heart melt. Your home is the background in your life and it's great to help you remember where you were for these first days - it is also a beautiful thing to share images of your family, making memories in their first home.

I bring along everything needed to have a successful session in your home. This includes props, specialty newborn photography outfits, swaddles, wraps, and lighting equipment.

We had a fabulous experience with Tiffany, the owner of Scarlett Photography, during our twins’ newborn photo shoot. We highly recommend her! Tiffany ended up doing an in-hospital photo session when the twins were 2 days old (“fresh 48”) and an in-home photo session about 2 weeks later. The babies changed so much in this short amount of time, so it was incredible to be able to capture both stages. Even within the first few minutes of the hospital session, it was obvious that Tiffany is SO experienced working with newborns and that she has a natural eye for amazing photos. Tiffany didn't bat an eye when both babies were crying, spitting up (including on her!), or needing a new diaper. She was so patient and invested so much time to capture exactly the right moment (even though she charges per session, not per hour). It was also clear that Tiffany genuinely enjoys her job. Watching her work with our babies was so much fun, and it was unexpectedly such a great family bonding experience. Beyond her artistic eye and comfort level working with babies, Tiffany also cared about our vision and unique wants but was also available to provide guidance as needed. For example, Tiffany was sure to capture family photos complete with our dog (an important family member!), solo photos of each baby in addition to joint photos of the twins, and photos of the babies in specific outfits/themes that were important to our family. She also had an entire collection of newborn outfits and props that we were free to choose from for the shoot, and she brought all of her own equipment. We were initially very nervous about hiring a newborn photographer due to high pricing across the board, but Tiffany was able to work with us and edit our plan until it fit within our budget. We absolutely LOVE all of the final products (which in our case included: full gallery of downloadable photos, photo album for ourselves, photo albums for grandparent gifts, and framed wall art… which was way more than we had anticipated, but we went for it after seeing the photos!). She went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our final products, which even included her coming over to home to hang the framed newborn prints (which would otherwise be sitting on the floor for at least the next year). Second only to the necessity of childcare, this was the best money we have spent on the babies to date ☺. We could not be more pleased that we chose Tiffany as our babies’ newborn photographer, and we are incredibly thankful for her time, effort, communication, and talent!! We will cherish these photos forever -- they've brought us so much joy already. We will be repeat clients!"
